NEXTXEN possesses unique capabilities that should be considered for projects related to digital signal processing, machine learning, or RF /Wireless, and communications systems. Our facilities include an engineering lab with ample workstations and networks to complete the tasks at hand. NEXTXEN has significant technical expertise in DSP, PC's, and operating systems to apply, and many years of direct engineering experience in working with real-time project development. Finally, our relationships, including strategic alliances with other companies in these fields, and our reputation and credibility in the industry, are also important factors contributing to project development.
In-house designed NEXTWave Signal Processing Software is used for some specialized signal analysis for many projects.
Our engineering development environment includes current-generation computing platforms connected to engineering servers with sufficient direct storage and backup capability. Open-source version control system is integrated into the engineering stations and provides NEXTXEN with excellent source code control for configuration management. Access to development systems with NVIDIA hardware is available, as well as the most recent software development tools, including editors, compilers, linkers, simulators, debuggers, and test software. A comprehensive engineering source code library associated with DSP and communications is also available. In addition, block diagram simulation tools, and other programmable test systems are available for quick concept testing as well as deep project development whether a PC-based platform (such as Windows or Ubuntu, etc.) or embedded development is required.
Often, our specialized frequency domain analysis is required to solve complex systems problems.
Hardware and software systems are available to allow for a variety of Signal Processing, Machine Learning, RF communications, and real-time DSP development and testing. The set of tools in our lab includes both hardware and software systems, with custom programmable instrumentation as well as conventional test equipment from vendors such as Rohde and Schwarz, Sprirent, and Agilent, etc. In addition to traditional baseband processing such as speech and telecom, soft programmable instrumentation supporting RF communications in the range from 70 MHz to 26 GHz is available. SDR hardware with 12-bit accuracy, including Ettus Research B200, B200-mini, and other SDR hardware are available, with support for open software platforms, and other custom software as part of our development tooling.
All engineering development is maintained within our DSP/wireless lab, located within six sided concrete room, secured by 1400 pound steel vault door with biometric lock.
